Investor Relations Associate | Venture Capital Firm | Boston | $100K–$120K Base
A venture capital firm in Boston is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to work closely with senior leadership, support fundraising initiatives, and help manage relationships with institutional and high-net-worth investors in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Investor Relations team in managing relationships with existing and prospective limited partners (LPs).
- Assist in preparing fundraising materials, investor presentations, quarterly reports, capital call and distribution communications, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
- Coordinate investor meetings, annual meetings, and fundraising events.
- Respond to investor requests and assist with ongoing communications regarding fund performance and portfolio updates.
- Maintain CRM systems, investor databases, and fundraising pipelines.
- Partner with investment, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate investor reporting.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support fundraising and investor engagement efforts.
- Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as the firm continues to grow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Investor Relations, Client Services, Fundraising, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or another financial services environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Professional, client-focused demeanor with a strong interest in venture capital and private markets.
